Internship Monograph - Chemical Process Technology

INTERNSHIP MONOGRAPH

The Internship Monograph is a mandatory curricular component of the Higher Technology Course in Chemical Processes at FURG and aims at the development of a technical-scientific work conducted according to scientific methodology. Its purpose is the production of knowledge through the application of concepts, analysis and synthesis of experiences and learnings accumulated throughout the course and applied during the supervised internship.

The student must demonstrate the capacity to propose and develop a work of synthesis and integration of knowledge in the area of Chemical Process Technology, autonomously and independently, under the supervision of a faculty member of the course or in a related area. The Internship Monograph must focus on themes related to the analysis and resolution of a problem detected during internship activities, in an area related to the technology course, and must contribute to the development of the competencies and skills required by the professional in the area of Chemical Processes.

The Internship Monograph is individual, related to professional duties, and its theme will be chosen together with the supervising professor. It will consist of a work proposal, a final report (monograph) and an oral presentation to an examining committee, which is open to the public.
