INTERNSHIP
The internship is mandatory in nature and aims to provide students with the real practices of the Technologist in Chemical Processes profession, completing the student's educational itinerary. It is described in the curriculum in the form of the mandatory subject Mandatory Internship, comprising 300 hours (20 credits). At this stage, the student has the opportunity to improve theoretical-practical knowledge, improve interpersonal relationships, experience industry and society problem situations, implement, supervise, control and devise technology solutions, and work and lead multidisciplinary teams.
The Dean's Office of Student Affairs (PRAE) of FURG provides all necessary information to students such as: details of procedures and forms for the internship and the final report. The Mandatory Internship follows the provisions of Law No. 11,788 of September 25, 2008 and Joint Normative Instruction No. 01/2016 of the Dean's Office of Student Affairs - PRAE; and the Dean's Office of Undergraduate Studies - PROGRAD establishes procedures for the completion and monitoring of curricular internships.
